A Cosmovision of Belonging

Babylonians saw humanity, as well as the Gods, in the 7 visible planets, each moving independently of the lockstep firmament of stars. These 7 Spirits continue to represent the span of life’s aspirations and moods across written history, including in many aboriginal origin stories, the Pleiades Sisters, Sevenfold Spirits shown to John the Revelator and in the Roman/German names of each day of our week ([Saturn]day, [Sun]day, [Moon]day, [Mars/Tyr]sday, [Mercury/W-Odin]sday, [Jupiter/Thor]sday, [Venus/Frigg]sday).
From the free paths of these ‘classical’ Planets we might see a joining of anthropology and ecology into a vision of our souls as connected to, and part of the earth and stars.
If so, to update Seneca’s “Per Aspera, Ad Astra” we might also observe that caring for all Life is caring for our own selves and part of an ageless calling of history to co-create a Cosmovision of our interconnected thriving with and within an interdependent Universe.
